For our HWG bloggers:

This posting is being sent in at the urging of Patricia Gallant, whom I believe found it amusing and perhaps you also will. So fellow writers here it is in all its glory (gory ?) increments. Enjoy !!!

The prompts which Pat gleaned from a dictionary at random are thirty in number and are in italics for quick identification, that is if you choose to waste your time counting them out or find that task boring. I personally would be very bored with that chore. Enjoy !!

Writing prompt for March 20, 2011.

When glamorous beings huddle in spartan conclaves, social mores begin to erode at an alarming pace, much like the Roman parties in Caesars time.

When his hordes beseiged the walls of cities in ponderous repetition, the odds were always in his favour. His fame marched before him, and thousands died with a heavy heart with no release from the Roman Legions fierce attacks.

Steep walls, liquid fire descending on a weakened foe took no account of the devastation of an immortal enemy bent on victory. It was not a phobia engulfing the victims, it was a reality.

If today we scroll a web page and only find junk, it will be a cinch to explore the red flicker of the tidy indian jug filled with fuel stained cotton ready to explode in ovation with Ceasar's gang. When all is said and done we should all engage in a cubic fitness program. Why cubic? Round ones roll away !!

Does this make sense? (Not supposed to.)

Did you get a laugh? (Hope so.)

Ron Lehman.

Many thanks to those kind members who gave me positive feedback on this crazy article. Ron

This is my very first blog ever, and in time will get to understand, for an older person, how all this electronic magic communication stuff works, and maybe, just maybe will leave something for future generations to absorb and make sense from.

Us older folks do have something to give, hopefully with a lot of value to raise the human race to higher levels.

Much has been written on being better, as people go, but I think we have a long way to go, as practicing the written word (I think no more need publishing) seems to fall a long way behind the written word. We need only to view the world scene outside our own environs and make our own judgement.

If I am not correct in thinking more does not need to be written, pray God that when it is it will be so dynamic no one will want to miss out on doing it.

Cheers to all, and please post your comments.
